Experienced Drill Rig Operator
Location: Dayton, Ohio
Responsibilities:
- Driving and operating truck mounted drill rig (CME-55)
- Reporting vehicle and equipment maintenance requirements to management
- Assisting in minor maintenance of drill rig equipment as needed
- Maintain detailed field logs for each boring hole
- Some overnight travel required
Qualifications:
- Familiar with CME-55 drill rig
- Must be able to perform drilling operations utilizing:
- Hollow stem augers
- Performing standard penetration tests with a 2" split spoon sampler
- Rock coring
- Field classification of soil samples
- Ability to read engineer plans to identify boring locations a plus
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Capable of performing heavy physical labor
- Maintain a valid drivers license
- Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience
