Environmental Engineering Solutions

It seems today that any type of new construction whether it be in the land development market or the mining market, dealing with building codes or MSHA, some form of Environmental Engineering is required by the governing agency. CBC Engineers & Associates, Ltd. started our Environmental Engineering Division with the strategic employment of Ed Galaska back in 2001. Since then CBC has formed a department around Ed and we get calls from land developers and coal mines alike. Our ability to handle a wide range of Environmental issues and have the other engineering disciplines to go along with the Environmental Solutions, allows us to package Clients needs and save money in the process. As you will see on the following case studies we have been involved in Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) both ASTM - Phase I & II, Ground & well water monitoring and testing, Asbestos and lead paint surveys, Analytical Chemistry Testing of Soil & Water and even FAA Environmental "Due Diligence Audits", Noise Studies as well as NEPA Studies & SHPD Reviews.

CBC is a one stop shop for all of your Environmental Engineering Needs. Should you have a need or are starting a land development or tearing down an existing structure call our Director of Environmental & Land Development Services - Ed Galaska @ 937-428-6150.

Sound Intensity Survey - Beavercreek, Ohio

A proposed single-family housing development was being considered in 2002 which had Interstate 675 as its northern most boundary to the property being considered. The developer of the project was concerned about the noise levels that Interstate 675 would pose on his new development and the owners of the new homes that be built. For this reason, CBC Engineers & Associates, Ltd. were retained to perform a Sound Intensity Survey on the subject property to determine the effect if any the vehicle noise from the interstate will have on the proposed subdivision, as well as to propose insight into possible abatement measures if needed.
