Engineering Resources
The strength of CBC Engineers & Associates, Ltd. is the people that make up the company. From Engineers to Draftsmen and from Field Technicians to Support Staff, all of CBC's personnel believe in delivering quality engineering support and services to our Clients. This work ethic has brought repeat customers to CBC for 15 years now. CBC's people believe in high quality, fast turn-around times, and making each customer interaction a pleasant and rewarding experience.
Our staff at CBC may be one of the more diverse in the industry carrying disciplines such as Geotechnical, Civil, Mining, Structural, Geologists, Land Surveyors and Environmental Scientists. From the meager beginnings, CBC with 2 engineers on staff is now closing in on 2o engineers some 15 years later with 9 being Registered Professional Engineers and 3 being Registered Professional Land Surveyors. CBC's then Chief Engineer, Dave Cowherd, M.S., P.E. surrounded himself with great talent to train and secure the next generation of CBC. We lost Dave in March of 2011 in a plane crash and so today Mitch Hardert CBC's second Chief Engineer moves forward having been the recipient of years of training by Dave. CBC's values in Client relations and ethics in the engineering profession continue to be the cornerstone that guides CBC as we move forward to the next generation of CBC engineers. Personnel of CBC Engineers & Associates, Ltd. hold P.E. Registrations in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia. We literally work all over the country and beyond in some cases.

CBC's New Chief
Mitchell T. Hardert, P.E. has assumed the position and responsibility as Chief Engineer of CBC Engineers & Associates, Ltd.
Mitch is a 1998 Graduate of The University of Dayton with Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering Degree. He interned as a student with CBC and elected to come back after graduation for full time employment not knowing that it would ultimately lead to this opportunity, but Mitch is excited to move CBC forward.
As Chief Engineer, Mitch will be registered with every state of the union and parts of Canada as Dave was. He currently holds registrations in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Montana and Virginia. The remaining states have been applied for except California and Alaska where state specific exams are required and we expect these registrations in the next 30 to 60 days.
Mitch is married with three children and is very active in his church and family's life.
Please feel free to send Mitch an email of congratulations at mitchhardert@cbceng.com.
CBC's - New Chief Engineer
Effective Immediately, Mitch will assume all duties and responsibilities as CBC's Chief Engineer. This includes the oversight of all engineering functions of CBC across the four offices. Mitch will also continue to manage the operations of the Centerville, Ohio office.
"Please join me and the entire CBC staff in congratulating Mitch on this promotion. He is looking forward to the opportunity to move CBC forward while maintaining all our Clients needs."
